IDEAS’ experience base covers 10 years of supplying drilling engineering training services to major operators (Shell, Elf Enterprise, BP and Amerada Hess); to recognised service companies for the UK’s Health and Safety Executive for example and to Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University re: Master of Science graduates in Offshore Engineering.

We specialise in the creation of tailor-made training programmes for Operators, Drilling Contractors and Service Companies in drilling and related subject engineering on a world-wide basis, covering traditional subject areas through to the more advanced and recent subject technology areas which are currently in vogue, pushing balance sheet bottom lines further and further into the black.

Training is typically of the classroom interactive format style, utilising a variety of learning aids, with visits to a fully operational land rig and service / equipment companies if the courses are held in the U.K. If courses are held overseas then interactive videos / computer screens and up to the minute photography portrays the practical side of the lessons and worked examples.
