ABOUT THE COURSE
HPHT wells, like Deepwater Wells, are extremely expensive - particularly
if things go wrong (especially in the area of well control).
There are many technical issues to consider when designing an HPHT well
- all of them critically important - since it's through good, solid risk-free
design that operational problems are often fore-stalled and averted.
This intensive course takes delegates all the way through the key issues
relating to well design and drilling the well. We then look at what can
be done to avert risks from occurring and study the key reasons behind the
success of the North Sea's Elgin / Franklin and Tommelitiven fields.
The course has been written for Operator, Drilling Contractor & Service
/ Supply personnel.
